Kid-Friendly Valentine’s Day Crafts

Valentine’s Day will be here before you know it. Whether you need to make a bucket of valentines for your child’s school class, or just want to snuggle up for a heart-felt craft at home, you’ll find lots of great ideas below. 

DIY Origami Heart Wreath. Use some simple origami folding and a premade wreath form to create this festive decoration with your kids. 

 

Heart-Shaped Recycled Crayons. These crayons are easy and fun to make. You can gift them, or use them to create Valentine’s for friends and family. 

Valentine’s Bird Feeder Hearts. Why not give your backyard birds a special Valentine’s treat too? Create these with your favorite Valentine, and then watch the birds flock in. 

Easy Heart Garland. Kids of all ages can help to make this sweet and simple Valentine’s decoration. Hang them anywhere to add some extra love to your home. 

Valentine’s Day Poppers. This would be a great project for a preschool, or to do at home with your kids to bring in as Valentine’s gifts. Stuff the poppers with stickers, tattoos, treats, or anything else that fits inside.
