GIVEAWAY: Family Pack of Tickets to Portland Youth Philharmonic’s Cushion Concert

Enter to win a family four pack of tickets to the Portland Youth Philharmonic Cushion Concert on March 12 at the World Forestry Center.

Portland Youth Philharmonic’s youngest ensemble and PDX Parent present the annual, family-friendly Cushion Concerts for children 2-8 years of age. PYP’s Young String Ensemble will present an interactive, musical adventure for the whole family on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the World Forestry Center with two performances to choose from: 12:30 and 2:30 PM.

Bring your cushions and blankets for floor seating and join PYP’s youngest ensemble for a 45-minute concert, conducted by Inés Voglar Belgique, the Oregon Symphony’s Assistant Principal Second Violin.

Families can arrive a half-hour before each performance to walk their children through PYP’s Instrument Petting Zoo, presented by Kennedy Violins.

Here, children may try violins, cellos, and other instruments in the string family, while having the opportunity to meet and interact with older members of the Portland Youth Philharmonic Association.

We are so excited to be giving away a family four pack of tickets to TWO lucky winners! Details to enter below. Good luck!

A great way to expose kids and family to music and instruments. My daughter is 5 and she has shown interests in piano and violin. The PYP’s Instrument Petting Zoo will be a great way for her to see and learn each instrument up close.
