PP&R Announces 2017 Summer Free for All Schedule

Some people say that summer officially starts in Portland on July 4, when the sun somewhat reliably begins to shine.

Others know the real start of summer is when Portland Parks & Rec begins its Summer Free for All program. You can find something to do every day of the summer—for free—through this incredible program. There are 40 movies in the park (and pool), 37 concerts, swimming lessons and open swims, and fitness in the park classes. All free!

The Summer Free for All also includes a summer lunch and playgrounds program to 35 playgrounds, including nine mobile playground sites. PP&R will be there with lunch, sports, games and arts and crafts.

You guys, did I mention this is all free?

You can read more about this program and find the schedules on PP&R’s website. You’ll also find these activities on our calendar.

Happy (almost) summer!
