Willowbrook Arts Camp
WILLOWBROOK ARTS CAMP
Integrated arts in a beautiful outdoor setting! Children explore theatre, music, dance, world arts and crafts, nature, creative writing, ceramics, basketry, weaving, photography, filmmaking, and more. Beginners and advanced students may sample freely or hone favorite skills. Theatre productions are open to all ages. See website or call for details.

Special Needs Accommodations: Willowbrook accepts children with special needs and provides them as much attention as possible. Although the park has rough ground, most centers are handicap accessible. Most severe needs can be met by an adult attendant provided by the student’s family. Please call for information and schedule a visit during camp.

iFLY Indoor Skydiving
IFLY INDOOR SKYDIVING
Come fly with us this summer! iFLY Portland flies kids of all ages every day, and runs kids’ leagues that teach young flyers 5-12 years old about the science and technology behind our wind tunnel in addition to progressing their flight skills. Participants get flight videos, coaching, and a shirt!

Creative Arts Day Camp
The Creative Arts Day Camp for children with and without special needs is a one-week, half-day program where children have access to creative arts therapists (music, art, drama, poetry, dance/movement). Projects reinforce ideal of achieving one’s maximum potential in a friendly, adaptive environment that fosters success.

Special Needs Accommodations: Our counselors are Marylhurst music therapy and art therapy students. Also, each area is staffed and supervised by experienced professional music, art, drama, poetry, or dance/movement therapists. Most supervisors are CPR & First Aid certified and we have a nurse on staff.

Ages Served: Week one: ages 5-9; Week two: ages 10-17

The Summer Program
Enjoy the week of the Dog, Pig, Goat, Sheep, Pony and Cow. Learn more about each animal. Also, enjoy academics, riding horses, playing on a tractor, feeding the animals, pick-a-pet, gardening and game time. Each week is similar but has a particular focus making every week special. Transportation available.

Steve and Kate's Camp
STEVE AND KATE’S CAMP
When you trust kids, they learn to trust themselves. We give kids the freedom to choose- whether that’s breadmaking, filmmaking, coding, sports, or pie-throwing. Day Passes (buy any number of days and use them anytime) or Membership (one fee for unlimited visits). Lunch, snacks and materials included in both plans.

Special Needs Accommodations: Our doors are open to all children to join the camp, either on their own or with an aide. In order to set up a child to experience success at the camp, we encourage families to talk with our year-round director before attending.

Zenger Farm
ZENGER FARM
There’s so much fun exploring to do at Zenger Farm! Each day brings new adventures as campers play with chickens, explore nature and cook fresh food from the farm. Camp activities include cooking, planting in the gardens, creating nature art, learning about farm creatures, and playing songs and games!

Special Needs Accommodations: We are inclusive to children with special needs as much as we are able. Our staff is trained and able to aid children on the high-functioning end of the autism spectrum, children with ADD and ADHD, children with histories of trauma, developmental delays, anxiety and sensory processing sensitivities. We are not able to host children who would normally need an aid (and would come without one) and our farm has limited ADA capabilities.

The Circus Project
THE CIRCUS PROJECT
Bend, jump, twist and fly! Circus Camps for kids and teens. Each week includes aerial, acrobatics, tumbling, dance, juggling and performance in our air-conditioned studio. Our coaches help students—absolute beginners to experienced circus artists—achieve individual goals in a friendly, team atmosphere. After care available in collaboration with PlayDatePDX.

Special Needs Accommodations: The Circus Project is a safe, creative and inclusive place. Camps do not provide sustained one-on-one attention. Hidden Valley Camp
HIDDEN VALLEY CAMP
Hidden Valley Camp is a traditional resident summer camp for boys and girls ages 7 to 16. Activities include: horseback riding, sailing, swimming, arts & crafts, canoeing, drama, archery, sports/games, hiking and much more. Carefully selected and trained staff work with small living groups (1:7 ratio) to help provide a safe, caring, friendly camp community. HVC is accredited by the American Camp Association and is a safe, fun and rewarding experience that has provided lifelong friendships & memories for campers since 1947!

The Armory Summer Teen Intensives
Acting & Audition Intensive: Under the guidance of working theater professionals, participants will explore a wide variety of contemporary theater studies including monologues, scene study and play analysis. Musical Theater Intensive: This two-week intensive is for teens interested in becoming “triple threats.”

Special Needs Accommodations: Our building and spaces are ADA and we can adjust any physical activity to be inclusive as needed, particularly our Dance section of our Musical Theater Intensive. All of our staff have experience working with all ability levels and encourage students to sign up!

NWDSA: BIKE FIRST!
Bike First! teaches people with & without disabilities skills to ride typical bikes. Quick Start! is for those without disabilities who need a jump start! Kids beam with pride over their new skills, volunteers cheer, and parents tear up seeing their child take flight. BF! is for 8 years and older. QS! is for 5 years and older.

Special Needs Accommodations: Our volunteers and staff believe in inclusion and are trained to compassionately support the individual needs of participants.

NWDSA: Bike First! is completely inclusive and admits participants of any race, color, religion, national and ethnic origin, familial status, disability, sex, gender, or sexual orientation.
