Kid’s Castle Cuts. The salon is tucked away a bit in the Woodstock neighborhood, but once you find it, you won’t want to go anywhere else. They have a play area with toys and video games. Lil’ Snippers Haircare 4 Kids. This Vancouver salon was started by mothers of young children. The waiting area is stocked with a plastic playhouses, a kitchen with food toys, books, coloring supplies and more. The styling stations themselves are equipped with hot wheel cars for seats, with working buttons and horns. PengwynKids Haircuts. Gwyn of PengwynKids knows how to make kids feel welcome and safe. Her salon has lots of toys to play with, along with movies and video games. Knowing how to make kids happy, she also has plenty of lollypops on hand! Each style is made complete with the recipient’s choice of ribbons, a handmade bow, color, or glitter if they want. Pigtails and Crewcuts. This salon specializes in “cuteification” – although you know with your kids it won’t be too hard. While they wait, they can play at the wooden train table, or check out some of the other toys and books. During the cut, kids can choose their own vehicle chair to sit in, and they can check watch the latest videos on tv. Sit Still Salon. Sit Still Salon feels like a salon. It’s clean, modern and sophisticated, while still feeling fun and friendly. The salon offers toys and games to play with, books to read, and shows to watch—even a carousel horse to ride! It also carries jewelry and toys to buy.
